Basildon has been a key contributor to the success of farming around the globe, since it began tractor production back in 1964. Pioneering Basildon developments have included turbo-charging, the first 'Q' quiet safety cabs, change on the move transmission and engine power management systems. As to product history, Basildon has produced some of the most popular tractor models ever made: Ford 4000, 5000 and 7000. And now, Basildon is home to the award-winning T6, T7 and T7 Heavy Duty tractor models.
